Small by design.
The same person, every time.

Just Good Company is a small, local operation on purpose. Your dog gets the same walker every visit, someone they can build a bond with and trust. Your cat gets the person they'll come out from under the bed for. You build a relationship with someone you can rely on to treat your pets like family. Every visit, it's going to be the same face at the door.

The roster of clients intentionally stays small, twelve to eighteen households max. Any bigger the work gets less personal, and feels more clinical. Small means your pet is with someone they actually get to know, in the home where they already feel safe. Getting to be that person is the best part of the work.

it goes.

Common
questions.

Send a note through the contact form with a bit about your pet. You'll hear back to set up a free meet and greet, then start whenever you're ready.
Yes, always. Just Good Company is small by design. On the rare occasion they're unavailable, you'll know well in advance.
Mill Valley and Tiburon primarily, with coverage into nearby Marin neighborhoods depending on scheduling. If you're not sure whether your area works, just ask.
Not at all. Other animals aren't a problem. In fact, we'd be excited to hang out with your furry, scaly, or feathered friend, whoever they are. If you've got something outside the usual, reach out. It's probably more familiar than you'd expect.
It depends on the dog. Share a bit about yours when you reach out, and it's easy to tell whether solo walking is a good fit.
For neighborhood walks it's the full 30 or 60 minutes on foot from your front door. For The Spot, the drive counts as part of the booking, and your dog is along the whole time (usually pretty happy in the car). Spots are kept local to your area, so the drives stay short.
After every visit you get at least one photo and a note on how the walk went. Your pet's cute, so probably more than one photo. It all comes through once your dog's back home, and anything worth flagging gets a text right away.
Yes. All dogs need to be current on rabies and distemper at minimum, and you'll share vet records before the first walk.
Many clients hand off a spare key at the meet and greet, or share an access code. Keys stay labeled, never with an address attached. A lockbox or smart lock works fine too.
Just Good Company is Pet First Aid & CPR certified and acts immediately. The client agreement includes emergency medical authorization, so there's no delay getting your pet to a vet. You'll hear as soon as something's wrong.
24 hours notice for a full cancellation. Same-day cancellations are charged at 50% of the walk rate. Real emergencies are handled case by case with empathy.
Primarily regular. Most households are on a weekly schedule, which is how the roster stays small. If you're already a client and need an extra walk one week, that's easy to fit in.
